== Accomplishments == * collected telephone directories, with over 3,500 at one point * for fun, visited as many Friendly Ice Cream and Sandwich Shops as I could. Finally, in July 1974, I reached a total of 416 different Friendlys, which I have reason to believe was the entire set at that time. They ranged from Maine to Maryland to Ohio * published "Administrative Subdivisions of Countries," 1999 * wrote about 11 songs to entertain friends * possibly the first person ever to give a party to celebrate his gigasecond—one billionth second of living, Sept. 14, 1976, Monrovia, CA * visited each of the fifty states at least twice * visited thirty-three countries
