Their actions impacted my life by restricting sugar which took away candy, cake, pies, soda pop, ice cream and other sweet delights. There would be no metal doll buggies, scooters, skates, tricycles and for that matter there would be no metal toys. My older sister, Nona did have such things, and I got to share hers when she was sweet. I attended kindergarten and then school in the Philadelphia school system. My grandmother. Mattie Myatt was still alive., but she would die in October 1941, but my great grandmother, Mammie Myatt was around until April 1944 to spoil me rotten. == Education == Philadelphia Mississippi School System Graduating from High School in 1959 Attended Ole Miss in 1960 and 1961 until my husband, Bill Martin, took me away. Took courses in the Severna Park County Community College System. == Career == Worked retail during high school. Was a Navy wife beginning in 1961 and still am at age 74. Taught aerobic dancing in 1979 to 1981 Worked retail again in Northern Virginia from 1981-1983 Was a financial secretary for two churches 1983-1990 Worked for the Alabama Convention Bureau for several years before retirement. == Accomplishments == == Health == == Faith ==
