== Early Life ==

Zebulon was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, but only lived there for one week.  He grew up in Northport, NY (on the north shore of Long Island). One of Zeb's first memories is swimming and "clamming", which involved walking around in the mud in the local tidal flats, and feeling for clams with your feet.  The clams were really tasty fresh!.  Their house was on a dirt road (which was about a mile long), and Zeb recalls literally walking in the snow to catch the school bus in the winter.

Zeb also fondly recalls the two road trips we took (Zeb and Gwil) to Florida and then to California -- each taking 10 days to 3 weeks.  They went through many states.  As of the date of this wiki entry, Zeb has been to every state other than Alaska and Louisiana.  

Zeb's house was about 15-20 minutes to the nearest town, Northport.  

Zeb learned to play the viola and piano.  At 14, Zeb helped form a high school "rock" band, Skeeter Jattz (the Jattz stood for John, Andy, Todd, Tom, and Zeb, the members of the band).  Zeb also started ballet at 14, and did ballet for 5 years.
