Early Life
(Gwillim-Moore genealogy says:) Percival Lowle lived in Kingston-Seymour, Clevedon, Portbury, Weston-in-Gardano, all in Somersetshire.
Education
A poem written in America shows evidence that he had a formal education at a grammar school in England.
Career
He moved to Bristol, Gloucestershire around 1600, and established a wholesale import-export business named "Percival Lowle and Company." The family moved to New England to escape high taxes, via the ship "Jonathan," leaving on April 12, 1639 and arriving at Boston on June 23, 1639. They settled in Newbury, MA.
