  • "In 1759 & 1760 Daniel Lowell was in the war from Amesbury, Mass. -- Probably at Crown Point (Mass. Rec. 97:417 - 96:255 - 99:150,306). In expedition to Canada 1763. In 1776 he was at Exeter, N. H. where he signed a petition on 'Overcharging for salt.'" -- Bessie Gwillim Law's D.A.R. application form. Another source says "In 1759 and 1769 ...."
