Accomplishments
[edit]Anecdotes
[edit](Reed Gwillim Law Jr. remembers:) Uncle Deryck was an unforgettable character. He loved classical music, puns and spoonerisms, bird-watching, and the summer colony at Kelsey Point (Westbrook, CT). He sometimes greeted my mother with "Wanna wrassle?" to which she would respond, "Not right now." Once, around 1972, he did me and my friends the huge favor of letting us use his studio on 43rd St. during the weekend to record some music.
