9 McClintock

From Family Wiki

The house at 9 McClintock on the grounds of the Chautauqua Institution belonged to the Ley and DeWeese families for generations. After World War II, it was a regular summer gathering spot for Harriet Ley DeWeese and her descendants. There was plenty of room for everyone on three levels. Chautauqua was gated, very walkable, and every summer was fully programmed with music, art, and recreation activities for all ages.

The occupants of this house had the special privilege of setting out their own dock on Lake Chautauqua.
